Telangana Movement and state formation

                                                              EDUCATION

1) Majority population in telangana depend on agriculture for livelihood.
2) Agriculture is very costly in telangana region.
3) Through Godavari and Krishna rivers go through telangana, projects were not constructed on them.
4) so, the farmers of telangana depend on bore wells for cultivation.
5) The maintenance was high as the electricity rate was more.
6) so, the expenditure was more than the income.
7) during this the people of telangana depend more on govt. hospitals for treatment, govt. schools and colleges for education.

Andhra people:
1) projects were constructed by govt. across the rivers.
2) so, the Andhra farmers need not spend much money on water resources.
3) water comes through canals. so, they need not pay electricity bills also.
4) they need to pay only rs. 200 per year for using the canal water.
5) they earned lot money due to availability of water and following green revolution practices.

Corporate education:
1) During the same time the govt. of NTR reduced the govt. expenditure on education sector.
2) as a result the facilities in the govt. schools were reduced and quality also came down as there were few teachers in the schools.
3) the govt. has encouraged the private schools and colleges by giving exemptions and grants.
4) slowly, the private sector started dominating the educational sector.
5) with that values came down in education and became very commercial.
6) as there was less income the people of telangana could not send their children to corporate schools and colleges and quality in govt institutions was very bad due to lack funding.
7) so the students educated in govt. schools could not compete with those of corporate schools.
8) they were lagging behind in getting the fruits of globalization.
9) at the same time the children of Andhra people studied in corporate schools and benefited from that.
10) like this one generation has lost the opportunities. nut the next generation sold the properties to get their children corporate education or they were indebted.
11) But the andhra capitalists earned lot of money through the corporate institutions with the support of the govt.
12) the students of telangana lost due to reduced expenditure of the govt. in education.
