Film Industry Attack on Telangana Culture

The film industry people used to project the hero from coastal Andhra or Rayalaseema. but negative roles like villains were shown as Telangana region.The dialect of telangana was shown as spoken by villains and jokers. Ex. in many movies, Telangana dialect was used like this: Kota srinivasa Rao (in villain role),  Ramareddy, Telangana shakuntala. Telangana dialect was used for jokers. Tagubothu Ramesh and Ali roles in movies. The same Telugu movies highlight the sankrnti festival, because it is a big festival in Andhra. but have they shown in any movies about the dasara festival? probably not. because it is a big festival in telangana. further, they never show the big festivals of telangana like batukamma, bonalu etc. because cinema has a direct on the people and society. they wanted to propagate that andhra culture and dialect is greater than that of telangana. they brought the movies that affect the mental status of telangana people that if they speak in telangana dialect they don't get respect and if they in andhra dialect they respect. like this telangana dialect and culture were attacked.

the language of telangana was attacked by making the dialect of two districts (krishna, EG/WG) as standard in newspapers. Andhra capitalists tried to destroy the personality of telangana by using media and films. the producers of these movies have no idea about the socioeconomic conditions of telangana. they even mocked the songs of gaddar. the fights and struggles of telangana people shown very little in the movies like osey ramulamma and sammakka saarakka. in reality, the word 'osey' is not used in telangana. but it is used only in andhra. though the telugu film industry and media did not give opportunities to telangana artists like jayaram, ajitkumar, shankar etc, they got very good recognition in bollywood.
